The show was supposed to happen last week, but because of some health department bureaucracy, U Pool got shut down. It sucked! My brother Jonathan Meyer and his buddy Will Griffin started a sandwich stand at the Williamsburg Smorgasburg called I8NY. Each week they offer 2 sandwich choices and inevitably they are both kick ass. This last weekend the Brooklyn Grange rooftop farm hosted them in serving a 4 course meal which was tasted great and was effortlessly executed. Pair it with the romantic and magical setting and the sold out 40 person dinner had quite a night. They sell super-tasty chicken sandwiches, vegetable-and-ricotta sandwiches, grilled corn on the cob with smoky peach butter along with various house-made sides and condiments like hot sauce and fresh ricotta cheese.
