Long Live the First Couple of Pop Art

There's no couple that made more of an impact on Pop Art than Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick. Together they changed the way we view the ordinary; which you can see mirrored through artists today but it's rare, if not impossible, you come across something as great. I've always been so intrigued with their quirky personalities which is why I was so excited to find this interview with them. It was really rare to catch the two of them involved with something so mainstream like a national television show. Check out this awesome piece of history..

My son will be 24 years old next month. When he was a toddler, his faoirvte toy was your Turner Turtle, given to him by his grandmother for comfort through an operation. He took Turner with him on a trip to Nantucket, MA and was holding him by the yellow ribbon around his neck when he suddenly realized he was still holding the ribbon, but Turner was gone. We never found Turner, and even after all these years, it’s a sad story we never forget. That’s how much it meant to my son.
