The Spotted Cat

Resident NYT personal style photographer, Bill Cunningham truly admires New York style. He travels Manhattan on his bike, searching for interesting New Yorkers to photograph. In his thick New York accent, Cunningham narrates a curated slide show (with some socio-political commentary), in a curated photographic series aptly titled, On the Street. His latest slide show features a plethora of animal print. In what he calls, a certain feeling of autumn, Cunningham documents how a trendy animal print garment or accessory can become a fall must-have. Have you got animal lately? Meow!

On the Fringe

New York and London's fashion week show's common thread for SS11 is Fringe. Ralph Lauren's collection featured suede fringe with a South Western twist, Henry Holland also included fringe in the collection's 70s aesthetic and knit-wear designer Mark Fast [might have] incorporated fringed horse hair in his signature look. Fringe certainly invokes a retro feel and for Spring 2011, MMC channeled Stevie Nicks, the beach and an effortlessly vibe. The fringe jacket and "festival" fringe tank is produced in several colors and will be your favorite, most worn item next season. Soft and easy.

Viral Inspiration: Man[n] Up

The moving series details Mann's smart use of high-end accessories, texture and color. The looks are sleek, layered and versatile.
